What MeLand Means to Others

Meland is a word created by Eva Thayer that facilitates understanding of a concept. The concept is that within our physical bodily boundaries there is a secure and safe 'land' called Meland where we can be safe with our Godselves.

The beauty of this paradigm is that as well as obviously being true, people of all ages can more readily grasp the concept because of the word picture created by the word Meland. This paradigm has both Spiritual and Psychological aspects.

From a Spiritual point of view one can easily understand the concept of being one with God in our inner Meland territory where God resides. It is of paramount importance that we grasp important truth.

The Psychological aspect is that one's self esteem is fortified by being made aware that each one of us is a separate, whole, and complete individual that has a safe place to retreat (Meland) should our boundaries ever be threatened by someone or something.

A further aspect of all of this is that while we are complete and whole individuals, we are all part of a greater body of life, just as branches are part of a tree.

 MELAND is a place that I create inside Myself.  In MELAND, each of us is made aware of the quiet, safe place inside.  In My MELAND space, I occupy the exact same space as everyone else!  MELAND is the place where we are all ONE!!  In MELAND we are ALWAYS in Harmony, Balance, Love, Abundance, Peace, Tranquility, Respect, Connected, Honored, Cherished, WHOLE!!!!  Once I learn how to connect Myself to MELAND then MELAND is  EVERYWHERE I AM!!!!

MeLand is that place inside me where I discover Who I Am.  I discover through my Positive Thoughts and Actions that I am a special person who connects with the people around me and with that Universal Loving Intelligence who has created the world and Me.  The teachers in MeLand teach in classrooms and by their actions and example in everyday life they help children and adults to discover their good qualities and to appreciate themselves both as individuals and in groups.  Development of Self Esteem is vital.  As children and adults grow in understanding themselves and others, "Me" becomes "We" and we acknowledge our connection to the Universal Loving Creative Intelligence that is part of us.
